Available Courses:
Book Club
When: 7.30pm - 9.30pm, one evening per month
Where: Toocom Cottage
Cost: $ 5.00 per term
The club reads about 3 books in this time. Bring wine and nibbles to share, all new members are warmly welcomed.
Childrens Ballet
When: Tuesday Evenings 5pm - 6pm 2nd February – 23rd March (8 sessions)
Where: Toocom Cottage
Cost: $ 64.00 for the course
Tutor: Cathy Phelan
Trained at the Victorian College of the Arts and the Australian Ballet School, Cathy Phelan danced in Europe and Australia professionally for more than 15 years. Cathy will be starting with some basic ballet training for the younger ones.
Classical ballet helps with flexibility, strength, coordination, fitness, rhythm and creativity. The classes will focus on enjoyment.
Card making
When: 10am - 12.30pm Saturday 20th February and/or Saturday 20th March 2010

Gardening Club

Where: Different Local Garden Locations

Come along and join the other members of this growing club. Meeting monthly, at different gardens in the locality, they discuss
current issues, give advice, help and are currently hoping to grow on cuttings to help the regeneration of bushfire damaged
properties
Meditation
When: Wednesday Evenings 7pm - 8.30pm 10th February – 24th March (7 sessions)

Pastels & Drawings
When: Thursday Evenings 11th February – 18th March (6 sessions)

Cost: $ 100.00 for the course
Tutor: Janet Hayes
In this course you will be introduced to simple exercises to improve your drawing, tone and colour skills. You will go on to produce sketches and finished artwork. A demonstration of pastel technique will be given in the first lesson.
Personal Training

Photography Club

Join this mixed ability group for photo shoots, discussions and the trading
of help and advice.
Toolangi Neighbourhood Playgroup
When: 9.30am - 11am Tuesdays

Belly Dancing
When: Tuesday Evenings 7.30 – 8.30 2nd February – 23rd March (8 sessions)

Cost: $110
Have fun, get fit and learn to Belly dance. Bring along a bottle of water ad any jingle jangles you have. Wear comfy clothing i.e. dance/yoga pants or loose flowing skirt.
Scrabble / Majong Club
When: 2pm - 5pm Monday Afternoons

Social Tennis
When:6.30pm - 8.30pm Wednesdays 10th February – 18th March 2010
Where:Toolangi Tennis Courts
Cost: $15.00 for the term
A social and mildly competitive evening for players of all abilities.
Teams of mixed ability will be formed to play several tournaments for the
term. Players will be matched against others of similar ability in a
doubles format. Emphasis is on social aspect of the game.
Stitch, Knit & Wit

Join this new group for fun, friendship and enjoyment of your craft in
like minded company. Meeting monthly at the Community House.
Yoga

Enrolment Information
Full payment is required to secure a place in a workshop.
All activities must be paid before commencement.
Enrolments will still be taken after enrolment week provided there are vacancies
Cancellation Policy
If TDCH has to cancel a course a full refund will be made. If a participant withdraws from
a course before it starts, a refund will be issued provided ther are sufficient numbers for the course to go ahead.
An administration fee of $4.00 will be deducted. Where the remaining numbers are insuffient a refund cannot be made.
No refunds will be issued if the course has already started to run.
